Man Cup today announced that they have eliminated the two lowest tiers of payout in all Sportsman and ET categories. This move markedly raises the minimum payouts in those classes heading into the 2019 season and beyond.
“In reviewing payouts there were very rare situations where the two lowest tiers were ever in use so it was a bit of a simple decision to implement these changes. Man Cup is very proud that our guaranteed purses are not capped, the more participation we have in a given class, the higher the purses go,” exclaimed Man Cup Principal Jay Regan.
“At Man Cup we realize that our Sportsman and ET racers are the heart and soul of the organization, period. That fact is not open to discussion. Trying to take care of these racers is a very high priority within Man Cup. In the near future, I hope to be able to announce even greater things for the racers making up the backbone of our sport. “With Man Cup, you can truly say it pays to participate!” Regan ended.
The season-opener will see these purse changes implemented and put into action for the first time. In addition to the Sportsman / ET purse increases, slight alterations to the Pro purses structure were made as well.
