Points Changes and Discounted 2-day Tech Card for all ET Classes in 2018
Man Cup is pleased to announce today that they will be offering a discounted 2-day tech card for all three ET classes for the 2018 season and beyond. All ET riders will have the opportunity to purchase a 2-day tech card at a discount as compared to buying tech cards separately for each day of racing.
Also, after receiving valuable rider input, a slight change to the points system will also be made. Moving forward, riders winning the 2nd round of eliminations will accrue an additional 10 points as compared to those who lost in the second round. In previous years, it was only the 3rd round winners and beyond who earned 10 points per round won.
“Our Pro ET, Street ET and V-Twin ET riders are some of the hardest working, sharpest racers we have in our ManCup presented by Vance & Hines series” stated ManCup event director Jay Regan. “The ET classes are known for extremely close racing and we are pleased to announce a streamlined entry process via the 2-day tech card which of course will garner you entry into both races of the weekend.”
“In speaking with racers, we reviewed the data and agreed with the input provided that it seemed as the 2nd round winners were getting slighted, so we fixed that with a minor change to the point earning system” explained Regan. “Here we had just another example of quality input coming directly from racers and Man Cup acted on it. The season opening April 6-7-8 running of the 37th annual Exoticycle Spring Cup presented by Roaring Toys at South Georgia Motorsports Park will see these ET class changes implemented and put into action for the first time”
